Professional Training
Mental health First Aid Training
For EAS practitioners, equine facilitators, outdoor educators and front-facing staff.
Do you need further training in Mental Health?
Are you confident you’re working within your scope of practice when supporting young people?
Would you know what to do if a client experienced a mental health crisis?
It is my hope that all practitioners, outdoor educators, equine facilitators and any front-facing staff have the knowledge, training and confidence to hold an MHFA conversation, and the skills to manage a potential mental-health crisis in the moment.
As an EFL practitioner and SEN lecturer / instructor of over 25 years, I have offered this training to the FE sector for a number of years now, training in excess of 120 Mental Health First Aiders — with both excellent feedback and very relevant experience in outdoor education, work with young people, trauma-informed practice and EAL services.
